Reinventing

March 24th, 2009 by Jason Fusco

Below I’ve linked to a story by Richard Florida (the guy who wrote “The Rise of the Creative Class”) about how our current economic crisis isn’t going to bring down our country, but much like the Great Depression of the 30’s and the Long Depression of the 19th century, it will forever change the economic and geographic landscape of our country.

No one is going to escape the teeth of this downturn – and we all must be able to adapt. Our county will change, our communities will change, our companies will change and ultimately we will have to change.

Take some time and read the story, and even though his focus is on American geography, think about how you might have to change to survive. I think as members of the creative class, we’ll all be in great shape to weather the storm.
