A Little Gift From Me to You

December 16th, 2009 by Dave Gilbertson

Awhile back I created a twitter icon for myself. I wanted it to be a glossy button with my initials in it. I’m far from the first person to do such an icon (Adobe, Mac so on and so forth). Nonetheless I made it for myself by zooming in and checking out how other icons were put together.

Since then I’ve reused the base of my twitter icon for a few other purposes – here’s one of them. I decided I’d share this file with you. The layers of the logo are separated out so you can see how they go together. Feel free to play with the type, add your own image, adjust the colors or the shape. I’m sure there are other things like this out on the information super highway, but I hope this saves you a touch of time and you find this useful. KTHX –  MGMT
